Like many of our customers, Qred Bank has been on an incredible growth journey. What started as a business idea has grown into a bank that today operates in 7 European countries.
2026
Qred has been featured on the FT1000 list for the sixth time. In addition, Qred Bank has now helped over 70,000 businesses, creating 20 new jobs a day – every single day.
2023-2024
The story begins in Stockholm, with an entrepreneur and a business idea: to offer other entrepreneurs a different banking experience. It wasn’t long before it was time to expand into Finland and open an office in Helsinki.
2021-2022
Qred continued to grow and launched business loans in Denmark, becoming one of the first on the market. However, it wasn’t long before it was time to offer business financing in the Netherlands.
2019—2020
Qred expanded its business into the Belgian market.
2017-2018
We introduced our business credit card, Qred VISA, in Finland and Sweden, which opened up more opportunities for our customers. Meanwhile, we continued to grow and expanded into the Norwegian market.
2015-2016
Then came the year when Qred obtained its banking license and could officially call itself a bank. Meanwhile, the German market was entered, and savings accounts were launched in both Germany and Sweden.

Qred Bank is a bank that helps small businesses with financing and smart business solutions. We were founded in 2015 by entrepreneurs who wanted to make business financing simpler, faster, and more transparent for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Qred holds a banking license and is supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. This means that Qred adheres to the exact same laws and regulations as other banks, while still maintaining the speed and simplicity that characterize our fintech background.

What services does Qred Bank offer?
Qred is a bank focused on small and medium-sized businesses. Therefore, business loans have always been at the core of our operations.
Later, Qred realized there was a need for a corporate card for smaller, more day-to-day expenses. That's why Qred VISA was launched in several of our markets.
For private individuals, Qred Bank offers savings accounts in Sweden and Germany with two different schemes – flexible and fixed.
